Whats a good product/products I could start selling on ebay as a business?
I am coming into a bit of money soon and I want to use it to invest in something that will give me a regular income. I am not expecting something like a grand a week. Even £100 a week I would be happy.
What is a good seller on ebay that I could turn into a business?
Was Whitney Houston broke when she died?
Will her daughter inherit anything or was Whitney Houston broke when she died? The daughter already has a drug problem, and if she inherits a lot of money, the drug-dealers and her father will be coming out of the woodwork and get her hooked even more. The daughter is in danger. Is anyone protecting her? The money could be a curse for her. (I wish she would get drug free and move away from all the limelight and live a quiet life. Maybe go to college and major in business finance so if she has money she will know how to invest it and handle everything herself, not depend on leech-like business managers and so-called friends.)
What's up with discrimination amongst immigrant groups?
I mean I've observed this at work time and time again. Different groups with different languages/religions forming cliques, little to no solidarity or common ground amongst coworkers, and arrogant attitudes from people who believe their particular group to be better than group X, Y or Z...is this multicultural experiment heading for failure? How can the government keep a balance in the sources of immigrants? (it seems to me 1 or 2 nationalities are HEAVILY favoured here, I bet readers living in urban areas can guess which 2). Some of the negative trends I've observed:
a) Immigrants bringing the old hatreds from back home and continuing to teach them to their children.
b) Some immigrants taking Canada for granted (especially those with money) and just "investing" in real estate while continuing to live/work abroad (this generates little to no jobs for the people who live here and just drives the local real estate markets into stratospheric unaffordability).
c) Those who do establish businesses tend to hire only amongst their own ethnic/national background creating resentment in the others.
d) Other immigrants who just come to invest in the extraction of natural resources and the stock market (again this just creates a few local jobs and generates little to no improvements in local public infrastructure).
e) Anchor-baby-style people who never even grew up here and then just come here for their post-secondary studies at a discounted rate.
f) Public services/health care again being used by non-residents only when they come back on "vacation".
The current emphasis on multiculturalism doesn't really encourage any sort of cultural unity (it is still necessary though so that new immigrants won't feel alienated and continue to stay and work here paying their taxes). How can you build a country only on "ideals" when people from non-related backgrounds can't or won't even communicate with each other? (BTW, I also don't believe that imposing English and/or French on new immigrants is a good idea either as these are not even the Native languages of the land and represent only 2 cultural groups out of many). So the country is stuck in a kind of catch-22 where the reality of multiculturalism just doesn't correspond to or match the top-down imposition of bi-lingualism (multilingualism would be an obviously better fit). Bear in mind that this country has never had a culture from coast-to-coast-to-coast (First Nation cultures were always fragmented and at war/conflict with each other, then the French and English were at war with each other and with the Natives...and the pattern continues with the more recent immigrant arrivals) The only reason this "country" came into being was again by a top-down political imposition that brought together disparate regions that back then had even less in common with each other. The country is too large and underpopulated and "young" (lacking in substantial history and tradition) that it seems as if its existence is just a shaky improvised construct thrown together by the crown and other powerful interests for their own benefit and not that of the people who live here.

How do I do an investors agreement?
Me and a business partner are opening up a small business and have a private investor who wants to invest all up front costs ($68,000) to open the business. In return, he wants a portion (5-20%) of the net profits per year, or month. After "X" amount is reached, he wants to lower his profits to around 2-5%. Where is a good website that has a sample contract for these terms? We may go the route with a lawyer, but this is a family member and just wants it notarized and be legible. Any good legal advice?
Who's greedier Hedge funds investors like Soros & Buffet who profit Billions a year on investing?
Or CEO's who run companies- to make sure they stay in business, so people have JOBS and make a living to feed their families and pay their bills?
Or people who have been on Welfare for a decade and never applied for a job?
Or people who work for a Union who strike more and more so they can take more vacations, but sacrafice others workers jobs since the company would go out of business if they had to keep giving raises whenever the workers want them.
Or American people (conservatives mostly) who finish school, who pay their bills by WORKING somewhere, who have goals to be someone productive in society and pay most the taxes to fund the govt programs and welfare etc.. and who give the most to charities.?
Who are the greediest ones?
Oil companies are not the enemies! The people that run oil companies work HARD! Those people risk their life, they build it, they drill it, they do all THE WORK- for us to HAVE OIL- which we use in everything everyday! That IPOD you use- needed OIL TO MAKE! That cell phone you use- needed OIL TO MAKE , the food you eat NEEDED OIL to make! That car you drive needs OIL! Those bikes you ride - NEED OIL!
The govt makes alot more on Taxes on Oil than the Oil Company makes-
So all the DEMONIZING on Oil Companies- is a far left tactic for them to make profits on their lame Global warming crap that DON'T WORK FOR US!
Defending Soros and Buffet is so pathetic! You guys NO NOTHING!
Unions did NOT BUILD THIS COUNTRY MORAN! Capitalism did! INDIVIDUALS! WHO CAME UP WITH IDEAS! Unions were the people who worked for the people who came up with ideas! Capitalism built the UNIONS!

Can you help me with these ratio questions?
Please show full working out, if possible:
1. Two people invest in a business in a ratio 5:7. If the larger investment is $63000, find the smaller investment
2. A survey at an intersection showed that the ratio of cars running the red light to cars stopping was 27:1973. If 72000 cars passed through the intersection last week, how many red-light camera tickets would you expect to be issued?
3. A concrete mixture of gravel to sand to cement of 4:3:1 is needed for strong foundations. How much of each ingredient is needed to make 60 cubic metres of concrete?
