Would you say Eastern Europe is part of the Western or Eastern world?
I would say Eastern, given it's very different from the West
Western countries tend to be Protestant or Catholic
But even Catholic is tricky
cause Hungary, Poland and Croatia are Catholic, but they are Eastern countries
But I would say cause of their unique history, Eastern Europe is more the Eastern world.
And I'll even say, forgive me if you don't like the comparison, that some of the Eastern European countries might have some Arab influence to a certain degree.
And most of Southern Europe is like that though they are quick to deny it.
What are some of Obama's Failures and mis-statements?
It’s hard to think of a president that has been more of an Epic Failure than President Obama. Even Carter is glad this guy came along, so at least he knows he is no longer the worst president ever. Here is just a short list of Obama’s Failures:
1.Hawaii is in Asia
2.Passing on the keystone pipeline.
3.Touts a Green Energy Company as exemplary that fails a year later.
4.Using the Gulf Oil Spill to promote Green Energy – instead of cleaning it up.
5.Thinking the Tea Party is a passing fad – or that they are racists.
6.Pulling out of Iraq with no clear victory over insurgent forces.
7.Trying to re-write history through speeches – with inaccurate information (i.e. Statue of Liberty)
8.Getting a Nobel Prize for being the most ineffective President in the history of the United States, though some say it was for his pigment.
9.Putting all legislation on the Internet for five days before it comes to a vote.
10.Returning the bust of Churchill to the Brits.
11.Giving a collection of DVDs to the British PM.
12.Denying the notion of American Exceptionalism.
13.Promising to close Gitmo — failing to do so.
14.Securing the Olympics for Chicago in 2016.
15.Naming numerous Communists/Socialists/Progressives to his various Czar positions and then watching them scurry for cover when Beck begins to call them out, forcing them to resign.
16.Government races for NJ, VA and the Senate Seat in Mass.
17.The midterm elections, which Obama himself called a shellacking.
18.Prediction that stimulus would ensure that unemployment doesn’t exceed 8%.
19.Bowing to just about everybody.
20.Proposing amnesty for illegal aliens to increase the population of voters for Democrat elections
21.He said, I have visited 57 states. Now there is just 1 left to visit

Would you be more likely to find a history of past droughts in a history book, or in an almanac?
hi there (:
Would you be more likely to find a history of droughts and floods from 1900 to 1910 in California in, for example, a school history book, or going through an almanac?
Thank you!

Arguable statement on the Satsuma Rebellion?
I am doing a research paper on the Satsuma Rebellion, Meiji Restoration, Saigo Takamori aspects of Japanese history. I want to focus on the late 1800's (1860+ mainly). The problem is, my topic must be an arguable statement out of this. I ask for help in doing this. Any help is appreciated.

Based on this article what provides the best insight as to religions future?
Who Can Know the Future?
“I am the Divine One . . . , the One telling from the beginning the finale, and from long ago the things that have not been done.”—Isaiah 46:9, 10.
IN THESE unstable times, political, financial, and social analysts study history and modern trends in an effort to predict the future. Others, desperate to know what the future holds for them personally, look to astrology or spiritism for answers. Such people are often disappointed with the results. Is it utterly impossible to know what will happen to this world, our families, and us as individuals? In the end, can anyone really foresee the future?
In his words to the prophet Isaiah, quoted above, Almighty God, Jehovah, described his own ability to foretell the future. Through Isaiah, God foretold the release of the ancient Israelites from Babylonian captivity and their return to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple. How precise was this prophecy? About 200 years in advance, Isaiah correctly named Babylon’s future conqueror, Cyrus. Furthermore, Isaiah accurately described Cyrus’ strategy—that of diverting the Euphrates River, which served to protect the city. He even foresaw that Cyrus would find the massive two-leaved doors in the city wall carelessly left open, contributing to Cyrus’ easy victory.—Isaiah 44:24–45:7.
Help needed with Grades! ?
In primary school, I had the highest SAT score in the whole school ever. I used to revise, even when I was 5 years old.
Now I am in Year 10 and I wish I could turn back time. I had excellent grades in Year 9 but now I feel I am slacking and I can't force myself to study or do homework.
My mother and father have noticed my grades have slipped (I got a B in English so far, B in Math, C's for History and IT and a D in Business Studies). Therefore, my father especially is extremely annoyed at me.
I really need to get in the habit of doing homework, studying effectively and working my socks off in class before it is too late.
If anyone can give me advice, it is very much appreciated.
iPhone 4s Shipping? Help?
So my dad went to get me an iPhone 4s for Valentines Day (I know, not a practical gift, but he used the 'holiday' as an excuse to get me one.) He went to the verizon store, they had none, the guy called other stores and they didn't have it either. So they're having it shipped to my house. I tried to look everywhere to see if I could track it. (It was supposed to come either today, (wednesday), or tomorrow) I went on My Verizon, clicked 'view order history' then it wouldn't give me the number. I then clicked "print return label" to see if that would do anything, it did. I got my tracking number, then put that into FedEx's tracker thing. Now when I track it, it says 'initiation' and says the destination is Fort Worth, TX which is like the other side of the country for me! I don't know if hitting 'print return label' made FedEx think I was trying to RETURN the iPhone, and that's why the destination isn't my home.. i don't know. I'm so confused please help me as to whether it's being sent here, or fedex is coming to pick it up to return it.
haha "mr garrison" you're so funny. it's too bad I'm 17... how am i spoiled? I dont even have a computer
