im 15 and underweight!! HELP?
Im 15 years old and im 5 feet tall exactly.
i weigh approx. 85 pounds.
i have a fast metabolism, and i have a low appetite. :( im really skinny and i hate it. for example im trying to shrink my size 0 jeans about one inch. ive gained a bit of weight in the last month, so i may weigh 86-88 pounds now but im still really skinny.
im probably going to go to the doctor and ask for medicine to help me gain weight or whatever but i just wanted to ask here first, does anyone with this experience recommend things?
i would like to bring up any of your tips to my doctor and make sure that i gain weight!
pills are also what im looking into to gain weight. ANYTHING.
did i mention im a girl? thought it might be important.
but i did not mention that sometimes when im still hungry and im eating, i start feeling .. nauseas? idk how to spell that. i will try my hardest to eat past my feeling full. i just know that my stomache has shrunk a bit from the habit of having no appetite

how can I clear up this yeast infection fast?
I've been on keflex (an antibiotic to get rid of strep) for a week now and I have 3 more days of taking the medicine. What can I take to get rid of it. Should I get monistat after I finish taking the medicine? This sucks. It itches down there so bad! lol. Any help is appreciated 10 points to best answer!
Question for Native Americans?
Since I was little I've been told that I look like I have a decent percentage of Native American in me(something I'm very proud of) but I'm adopted and my papers don't mention anything (its closed so very likely I'll never find out). However I've been drawn to the culture and spiritual it really hits home for me, so my question is am I being stupid/disrespectful for trying to draw very close with a culture that although it clicks for me; I cannot prove is mine? I found this quote that state this is not true but I'd like a view from inside a tribe

the face wash gave me a rash?!!!! help!!!!?
i started using this acne free system to treat acne, of course, and it gave me an awful rash on my chin and cheeks, and my face is peeling and it stings badly. i washed it and it stung bad. do you know of any medicine i can use to get rid of this rash that's safe to use on faces??? one that will reduce redness and burning? please help! my face hurts and looks awful!

Should I follow my dreams or my aspirations?
Basicly, I am in year 11 in secondary school, and am thinking forward to when I leave college. The aspiration I am talking about is to become an astro-physicist, where as the dream is to live in Japan. Currently I am considering joining an international university in japan, and possibly studying medicine. I have a basic grasp of the Japanese language and have always wanted to live there, so this is not just some wild flight of fancy, however I have also loved physics for as long as I can remember, particularly astro-physics, and I one day want to make a genuine contribution to the field. I feel as if given up on either goal would be a failure, but it seems very unlikely I could ever have both, so I would appreciate your opinions on whether or not it is possible to follow both, and if not, which should I go for?

My doctor prescribed me Ambien to help me fall asleep because I'm having such a bad time. What can I expect?
My doctor prescribed me 10 mg of Ambien and I am supposed to pick it up from the pharmacy tomorrow! I don't know much about the medicine because I don't know anyone who's taken it! He said the medicine will actually "hypnotize my brain into sleep" and "reduce brain activity so it will be easier to drift off". (That is my main problem! I LOVE my job--working with severely disabled children--but it can be stressful and even though I'm EXHAUSTED, my mind won't shut off and let me SLEEP.) I'm just curious as to what effect it has had on other people. I took Sonata a few years ago for my insomnia back in college. It helped, but this is the medicine my doctor told me would help me best though, so is it like Sonata?? He told me it is in the same class--hypnotic sedatives. Will it feel the same?? Also, how soon will it start working after I take it. Like, immediately? So, any other advice or tips or information about Ambien, I'd really appreciate it!! I like to know what I'm getting into and while I trust my doctor and his judgement, I like to hear stories/experiences about new medicines and things from other people who've actually taken it!! Thanks so much!! :)
Dizzy, clogged ears - what can I do?
It started with a sore throat and stuffy nose two days ago. Now the sore throat and stuffy/runny nose are gone, but I feel terribly dizzy and my ears are clogged. Is there an over the counter medicine that will help?
