True Execution Story?
I'm trying to find a (nonfiction) story. It's not a book just something about an 18 year old was driving the car, where his friends where like 17 and they were shooting people. And they were sent to jail, but even as the 18 year old didn't do anything he was the only one executed because he was the only one of age. Nothing happened to the others.
it's not a movie or anything it's just like a plain old... story. Like i dunno, information/article.

I have a project for english where i need to find a non fiction writing related to my fiction book. i chose Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. it has to relate thematically to the book. im guessing it just have to have a similar story or point. it can be any kind of writing really, an magazine article, a newspaper story, it just has to be true, thanks!
I need a book or two for this summer?
I need suggestions for a book that will keep me interested. I don't read much, really ever.
To narrow it down:
I'm not a fan of anything too fictional. Something that I would call slightly fictional is, as far as I've heard, one flew over the cuckoo's nest. I haven't read it, but it sounds like something I might like.
Nonfiction would probably hold my interest more. I don't want a biography or a self-help book.
Some of my interests are science (especially psychology and anthropology), travel (something like into the wild, or perhaps something in Scandinavia). If you know of anything with numbers, I love math, but I don't want to read a math textbook.
Based on the little bit of information I've given you, tell me some books that will either blow my mind or keep me interested. Fiction or non fiction, and it doesn't necessarily have to go along with my interests if you think of something I might like.

Lol, Deej. I've read every single one of the science based fiction books you suggested. They are the only ones I'm interested in.
As much as the doors of perception interests me, I'm staying away from drugs and I shouldn't read something that will tempt me to use again.

I'm looking for a message board to post my writing. I want a place where I can get help with content as well as form. I basically want to find a place where every aspect of writing is examined. Although I will be mainly posting creative fiction and creative nonfiction, I would like a place where I can work on academics as well.
Please tell me your favorite places and why.
